What work does the laboratory undertake?
RFC's in-hospital IVF laboratory is responsible for fertilization, embryo culture, embryo testing and cryopreservation. The andrology laboratory processes the sperm samples, and the embryology team handles the eggs and embryos.
| link | Specific work |
|---|---|
| Fertilization | Fertilization procedures such as conventional IVF or ICSI. |
| Cultivation | Observe embryonic development and form cycle records. |
| PGT connection | Embryo biopsy, genetic testing and report connection. |
| Storage | Freezing, preservation and subsequent thawing of eggs, sperm or embryos. |
EmbryoScope+ and Laboratory Management
The RFC laboratory page introduces the EmbryoScope+ embryo culture device and lists the responsibilities of the high-complexity laboratory director, embryologist, andrologist, and laboratory technician. Equipment is part of the training and observation process, not an indicator of personal success.
RFC introduces CAP certification and CLIA qualifications. This site records the qualification information announced by the hospital, and has not independently completed the certification verification of each laboratory's subject, address, and validity period.
Laboratory records used by patients
Fertilization and culture reports record the development process of the embryo; test reports answer specific genetic questions; freezing records and preservation protocols are used for subsequent preservation or transfer. These data should correspond to the patient's name, period and actual storage subject.
