RFC follow-up & embryo storage renewals: records and ongoing care

Before leaving the United States, clearly arrange the connection between reports, medical liaison, preservation and renewal, and future treatment to reduce the difficulty of re-examining information after returning to the country.

Four types of information after leaving the United States

FileMain content
Clinical RecordExamination, operation and follow-up medical requirements from the doctor.
Embryo/Egg RecordingEgg harvesting, fertilization, culture, freezing and related sample records.
Test reportIf tested, get complete results and explanations.
Save protocolPreservation subject, term, renewal and disposal authorization.

For medical problems after returning to China, directly connect with the treatment team

Pregnancy testing, review, medication and symptom management should be based on the plan given by the doctor. Before leaving the United States, ask about which tests can be completed locally, how the results will be reported back, and what situations need to be transferred to a local doctor.

For emergency symptoms, they should be handled according to the guidelines provided by the hospital in advance and the local emergency medical channels. LAIVF's assistance with appointments or information does not constitute an emergency medical response and does not assume medication adjustments.

Save and renew

Save the agreement and bill record renewal cycle, payment object and notification channel. Changes in contact information should be promptly notified to the depositary. Future thawing, transfer, or transport requires use of the original records and reassessment of new treatment needs.

Before treatment again, reconfirm the plan

When planning to transfer, thaw eggs, or transfer to other clinics in the future, you should first check the samples and reports, and then ask the medical team whether the evaluation needs to be updated. Past quotes, doctor appointments and test validity dates cannot be automatically carried over.

  • What kind of treatment do you want to carry out this time? Are the existing samples and records complete?
  • Which checks need to be updated, and how to arrange remote communication?
  • What are the changes in fees, clinic locations and arrival date?
