Initial consultation information, Chinese communication and treatment in the United States
Before the initial consultation: sort out the medical history
Prepare records of past ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, fertilization, culture and transfer, as well as existing ovarian reserve, semen and uterine related examinations, together with medication, surgical history and treatment goals for doctors to evaluate. Sensitive medical records are submitted through the hospital’s designated channels.
Doctor communication and treatment arrangements
Dr. Lin's public languages are English, Mandarin and Taiwanese; Dr. Liu's public languages are English and Mandarin. Doctor communication and coordinator services have their own division of labor, and language needs can be explained during the initial consultation.
After the medical team determines the plan, medication, monitoring, egg retrieval or transfer are arranged according to the cycle. The length of the trip is affected by the treatment method and test results, and no uniform day commitment is used.
Report and follow-up
After egg retrieval, pay attention to the fertilization and culture reports; if PGT is arranged, obtain the test report and have it interpreted by the doctor. After transfer, follow-up visits will be arranged according to medication, pregnancy test and ultrasound; renewal fees and follow-up contact channels will also be recorded.
